The Challenge

Michael Jahrer, a homeowner in Graz, faced rising electricity costs and frequent grid instability during winter storms. His large property required a significant amount of power for heating, EV charging, and daily household operations. He needed a solution that could:

  • Generate enough power to cover 90% of annual consumption.
  • Provide seamless backup power during grid outages.
  • Integrate with his existing EV charger and heat pump.
  • Withstand the harsh Austrian winter conditions.

The Solution

Working with our local partner, we designed a high-performance three-phase system tailored to Michael's needs. The core of the system is the JfyPower HF-12K-3P hybrid inverter, paired with high-efficiency bifacial panels and our modular LiFePO4 battery rack.

The system features:

  • 3x 10kW Hybrid Inverters operating in parallel for 33kW total output.
  • 45kWh Battery Bank ensuring 2 days of autonomy during low-sun periods.
  • Smart Load Control to automatically manage heavy appliances like the heat pump.
